I already know Tirol churns out some great concoctions, and who doesn't love gelato? A bunch of other Japanese snacks have done a great job replicating ice cream flavors so far, but gelato is a new avenue, as are some of these flavors. The three here are pistachio, milk, and mixed berry, all of which are very exciting flavors. But I got my nose on that pistachio.
Pistachio is up first, and it has a super interesting appearance and smell. Both are true to the nut: the chocolate is green with brown flaky bits mixed in, which creates a fine nutty texture. The smell is equally nutty, and actually quite strong!
The taste displays a little more depth, as it's very creamy, I guess to stay true to the gelato theme, and that balances out the nuttiness very well. No special filling on the inside, but it really doesn't need it, the combination of the nutty flavor and creaminess and crispy rice gives it everything it needs. It really is a great treat that manages to evolve the pistachio flavor into something more. I wish I had more of these, aruff!

Milk definitely doesn't seem like the most exciting flavor ever, and the appearance and smell aren't any different. It's a plan white square, and it smells just like you'd expect milk to. I suspect white chocolate is used here to create the milk flavor as I've seen in the past, which is actually exciting because that was fairly successful!
The actual taste, however, is a bit different from the ordinary. There is a filling in it, and this filling supplements a good bit of texture variety to the milk flavor. It also makes the chocolate a bit chewier which is good because it allows the taste to prolong. And the taste itself is great! It has a nice balance of sweetness and richness, making the taste similar to condensed milk but with a way more interesting texture. Wow, this pack is pumping out hits!

Can this pack finish off strong? Given Tirol's success with berry flavors, it seems "berry" likely (okay, you can shove me in a kennel now). This is a mixed berry flavor though, with the blueberry and others poking out from the top. Mixed berry gelato sounds quite delicious right about now, hopefully this satisfies that urge.
This sure was a surprising bite, because it's crunchy! But still good. The crunch is a bit of a surprise, but combined with all the other sweet berry flavors intermingling, it is pleasant, like a berry cobbler or something. And all the berry flavors really do add something special to this. I can't pick out any individually but all their flavors melding together produces one fine treat!
I will say that it is not as spectacular as the rest, failing to deliver that extra final blow of flavor, but overall this is the best combined experience I've had from Tirol. This pack definitely gets a hearty AROOO from me!
